P2 Energizer for P2 Perpetual PITs

The P2 Energizer Station for P2 Perpetual PITs is the third-generation model of Pinpoint’s Energizer series. It is a unit designed specifically to “energize” or recharge the supercapacitor in a P2 Perpetual PIT. Two PITs can beconnected at the same time, and as well as charging them the Energizer is also capable of detecting faults with the PITS connected.

In lieu of a physical  button, the P2 Energizer utilises a capacitive touch pad to begin the energizing process. 

To “energize” a PIT, simply connect the Energizer cable(s) to the magnetic charge jack on the PIT. Once connected,touch the orange circle in the  centre of the unit to begin the energizing process. If the LED(s)  illuminate andchange from solid yellow to flashing yellow, your PITs are  charging. If they then turn solid green, your PITs areready to use. If  however the LEDs are still illuminated solid yellow, illuminated red or  alternating between thetwo then it has encountered a fault with the PIT.  Please see the P2 Energizer User Manual for moreinformation about  faults and contact Pinpoint for diagnostic/repair.

The P2 Energizer Station  is intended to sit on a desk or table near a mains power  source and should be in aneasily accessible area so that staff can  conveniently energize their P2 Perpetual PITs before their shift starts.
