Video monitoring

Ongoing video monitoring of key areas on the unit serve as a deterrent to antisocial behaviour and offer visual feedback should an incident take place.

In the event of a raised alarm, the Pinpoint system causes CCTV to record and store footage for a specified time either side of the incident for examination at a later date.

Access control

Attempts to access an unauthorised area raises the Pinpoint alarm, relaying a high alert message to response devices including staff pagers, mobiles or PCs.

An emergency incident in a ward can cause the access control system to automatically “lock down” the ward allowing access to response staff and security only.
