The Total Over Door Light (TODL) is designed to be positioned on the Data Ring and is configured to respond to a single addressable unit or one of a range of units. When triggered, the TODL can emit audio and will emit a visual signal that relates to the address and level of call triggered. By using an RGB LED, the unit is able to emit a number of different colours and can accurately relay the level of call.
TODLs should be fitted as close as possible to the location to which it responds. Consideration should be given to the condition of the surface to which the TODL is to be mounted: it should be free from damp and moisture, not be subject to any shock or vibration, and be secure enough to allow a good fixing for the TODL and box.
Each TODL can be fitted with an on-board sounder or connected to an external sounder. It is also available as part of our Extended Range systems (XR).
The levels of call covered are as follows:
- Emergency: Red
- Assistance: Green
- Patient Call: Orange
- Nurse present: Blue (Bedroom)
Cyan (Bathroom)
Although these are the preset colours, multiple colour combination can be created to suit the customer’s requirements.
